Look What I Can Do

I started working full time for Bystander Productions. Amazing/Exciting/Serious shit...now the pressure of being the sole gig-getter is all upon me. We're working with Cars and Trains and Starfucker over the next few weeks.

I joined a kickball team. We start on Thursday and I don't know a single person on the team or the league. In fact, I'm not sure if I even remember the rules...does it just boil down to kick and run? I do remember the smell of the red rubber ball as it smacks you against the face and the sunshine pouring through and illuminating the sticky-outy ears of that kid David standing on the field in front of me in 3rd grade. Did I mention that my mother sent me to a doctor when I was seven for less than desirable hand eye-coordination? Oh, and the team mascot is a giant blow-up whale...epic.

Been going to more shows, leaving the tv off, having long and more fulfilling conversations, and attempting to balance new free time with new responsibilities. Oh and then there is sleep, that needs to move up on the list of priorities...so, being that it is 3am and I am directing a music video in 6hrs I will hit post, shut the computer and my eyes. Vintage toys and 'sitting listening to what the broken wires on my record player have to say to me' are on the agenda, rest is required.
